The scenery is beginning to change. The mountains are no longer as tall. The water sources are beginning to spread out. The climbs are no longer as strenuous. The Sierra Mountains are slowly coming to an end.
It was a good day to hike. It was cool. We put up miles.
We ran into trail magic, a hiker from 2016 serving burgers and a pep talk. “Just don’t quit. You’ve done the hardest part. It is no longer can I, but will I.”
So, with that I’ll keep it short. We continue to stretch ourselves out for bigger miles once we are out of the mountains.
